Responsibilities
As a Senior Assistant Tax Compliance, you are responsible for preparing and reviewing a broad range of tax returns. You independently handle complex tax filings and draft objections and request letters for clients. You also perform small advisory tasks, supporting engagement leaders in delivering clear, client-focused tax solutions. Reviewing and determining the fiscal position in the financial statements may also be part of your responsibilities.
In this role, you contribute to the quality of our compliance practice by keeping stakeholders informed of progress, asking for support when needed, and ensuring client deliverables are accurate and submitted on time. You maintain professional contact with clients and the tax authorities and help ensure our advice is aligned with the latest compliance standards.

As Senior Assistant Tax Compliance you recognize yourself in the following profile:
- A bachelor or master’s degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax compliance
- Familiarity with Dutch Caribbean tax legislation and strong analytical skills
- Strong numerical insight and a structured, methodical approach to work
- Able to communicate effectively within a team and with clients
- A proactive, ambitious mindset with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
- The ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high quality standards
- Strond command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written; English proficiency is a plus
